Kittens!

Yesterday my family and I (except Dad!) went to the RSPCA to look at little girl kittens that we might want to get. We've been talking about getting another kitten for a while, but this would be MY kitten.

I was REALLY excited!

So we went into the cat section and saw mostly grown-up kitties. There were only two kittens. We went up to the desk and Mum asked if there were any girl kittens. The woman at the desk said to ask the cat keeper. So we went into the cat section again and asked the person who looked after the cats. She said we could look at them in the cat lounge.

I fell in love with a black one with little white paws. I called her Mittens. She had two sisters and one ginger coloured brother. Here's how cute she is:

After a long time of playing, she agreed to stay on my lap.

Then we had to go to my brother's percussion workshop at the Con (where my Dad works). I was very sad to leave Mittens.

Mum said, "Let's see what Dad thinks before we make a decision about Mittens," so when we got to the Con I asked him straight away.

He said yes if Mum said yes, and Mum said.........YES!!! When I had said all my thanks, Mum and I went to the RSPCA and paid for Mittens. But we couldn't bring her home straight away because she needed to be desexed. We can pick her up in four days!

Then we went back to the Con and met Nana. We talked for a while and went off to have a picnic at Belmore Basin. After that we went to the beach with Oscar. Then we went home and to bed. I was feeling very happy, because I finally had a kitten!

THE END.

The Samoa adventures

About six months ago Mum got a call from a family member that the whole family was going to Samoa to spread Mum's dad's ashes and asked if we wanted to come, but Mum said no. Mum thought about it for a while and one day she asked us if we wanted to go, and we said:"YES!!!"So we decided to go.
But of course we talked to Daddy about it too.We finally decided that Daddy would stay home for three days then he would come join us and our neighbour would look after the pets while we were gone. On the day of leaving we all said goodbye to dad, and our pets, and went.

Santa Rider

This is my favourite game. In the game Santa rides a motorbike over mountains and lumps. The aim of the game is to get up levels.

Control him using the arrow keys. Use the up arrow key to go forward and the down arrow key to go backwards. Use the right arrow to lean forward and the left one to lean back. I really like it and I hope you do too!

cupboard crazy

Today we were just walking around and getting our lunch ready when Mum saw...
Tuss in the food cupboard! So we pushed him out, but a couple minutes later we heard a strange rustling coming from the cupboard... we went to the cupboard and saw that Tuss had gotten into it again! Mum pushed him out again and closed the door. But Tuss will probably find a way in!

light chaser

My brother got a nerf gun for Christmas and it has a light for target shooting. Today he pointed it at the ground where the Tuss, my cat, was lying. Then he wiggled the light. The cat stared, and pounced. Tuss started to chase it. It looked like he was doing a little dance! Wherever the light went, Tuss went. He even tried to eat it! I just LOVE my cat.

This is my cat.

Isn't he cute?
